Today is a pretty big milestone for me, 5 years ago I was hit by a bus and left with multiple life threatening injuries including a broken neck, back and a shattered pelvis among less serious injuries. I am fortunate enough that today, instead of bringing back traumatic memories It now only reminds me of how lucky to be alive I truly am. It also reminds me how quickly life can be taken from you. I cant explain how thankful I am to be blessed with my beautiful daughter Scarlett-Kate, my mum and the incredible family unit I have surrounding us. Just want to say thank you to my incredible family and friends and those that know my family who helped keep me going through my long recovery. I know I wouldnt be where I am now without my incredible family, they have provided me with strength I needed. They are the reason I have picked myself back up every time life has knocked me down! I am so incredibly thankful to everyone who helped me during my recovery xxxx
