Today is a somber day, as Nov. 20th is the day that we set aside every year to remember and honor those within the Transgender community that have lost their lives to the violent hands brought on by hate. Throughout the world candle light vigils with the reading of names will be held to honor and remember the approx. 226 individuals that lost their lives this past year for not conforming to the gender norms of our societies. Please take the time today to attend one of the candle light vigils. In the Denver Metro Area there will be a candle light vigil held at: Transgender Day of Remembrance: November 20th, 2014 Jefferson Unitarian Church 14350 W 32nd Ave, Golden, CO 80401 7:00pm to 9:00pm https://youtube/watch?v=Dsr_SV1hz60&feature=youtu.be Unfortunately due to health issues (some brought on by those violent hands of hate) I will be unable to attend for the first time in many, many years, but it will not stop me from lighting a candle and sending positive energy to all my fallen brothers and sisters that I loved so dearly! ***Wipes tear***
