Today is a special anniversary. Ten years ago on this date I shattered my left wrist in a fall. SHATTERED I tell you. I passed out, was in shock, and waited two days for surgery. A fine, very young, American, Dr. Kelly Holtkamp put me back together...she spent hours just removing bone fragments...my arm now contains a rod--bone replacement, a spider plate, eight screws and some bone graft donated by a nameless cadaver. I promised God I would never stop making His music if he allowed me to still play guitar. God is indeed good, all the time. Thank you, God. Thank you, Dr. Holtkamp. Thank you, physical therapists.
