Today is a special day! Its another first day, another day that I am smiling looking back at the last year and a half. When I play back in my mind my life a year and a half ago I cant help but laugh and smile. I had no idea my life was going to take a complete left turn. One of the hardest decisions youll ever face in life is choosing to walk away or try it! I knew I made the right decision when I felt peace in my heart. I believe you my not always end up where you thought youd be but you will always end up where your meant to be. A year and a half ago I was single and loving every second of it! I spent most of my days with my pups, volunteering, getting my hair done every weekend and traveling to say the least. Then October 2013 my life took a left turn! If someone would have told me that I was going to have a bathtub full of toys and Doc Mcstuffins bubble bath, give up closet space, cook everyday, compromise, watch the Disney channel instead of Lifetime and live my life on a routine...I would have laughed and said NOPE, not me! Now, as Im smiling writing this, I cannot imagine my life without any of that! I wish I could just reach up and give God a high five for choosing the absolute perfect companion for me! When I look back at times when pressure and stress was at its most, I am so glad I didnt give up. I know in my heart I would have regrets. Nothing was going to come in between our love. This love is REAL! Its hard, fun, strong and special. I will protect and respect this love. I will make sure we grow together and not apart. I will continue to look back and smile as more memories made. The first day was October 3, 2013 and the second first day is today after yesterday making it official. I cant wait for the NEXT first day....
