Today is a very important anniversary for me and my family. 20 years ago this morning my Baby Brother, James Edward Cantrell, died in a car accident and it changed all our worlds in a flash. We will never be the same. Many people have come into our lives since that horrible day, Emily Karenann, Bob Little, Amanda Harrolle, Stacy Little, Ivie, Pam and many more. It still seems a crime that none of them got to meet him when they are all so important to us. Today we will laugh, cry and most of all remember the boy that grew into a wonderful young man. I got to thinking about what he would be doing today. In his senior year they asked what plans he had, he said To go to college, major in criminal justice and later become a DEA Agent. Also, to own a chromed black Harley Davidson. I think he would have done all that but not necessarily in that order, I think the Harley would have happened pretty soon. In my imagination he ended up as an OSBI agent instead and he and Muriel Ann get to see eachother at work all the time and when I can get to the City I get to have lunch with them and we make HIM pay! He is on his second wife and this one isnt anywhere near as crazy as the first one! He is now the happy father of 2, a boy Little Joe we tease and call Phys pronounced Fizz for Phys ED. In explanation he always said he would name name his kids Special and Physical Edward lol. Then his sweet baby girl Stacy Ann hehehe who he wont let out of his sight for fear that some no good boy might see how pretty she is and he would have to start cleaning his guns and sharpening knives. His wife is the love of his life and adores him and together they are just silly, she gets all his jokes and they have found true happiness together. They come up to see Bob and I at Deer Season and he is teaching Joe to hunt and Stacy Ann loves coming to see her favorite Aunt and I am teaching her to knit. lol Jim spends lots of his weekends off down at Dads helping him during hay season and is always there to help fix whatever Dad needs fixing. He helps with the horses and has really started to get the same passion for them that Dad has. In fact the only complaints his wife has is that he spends too much time with his Dad. :) Emily and Ivie think his house is the best place to spend a weekend and he only makes them keep one secret, not to tell neither Muriel or me that he takes them for rides on his bike. These are just a few of the things I would imagine about him, most of all I imagine him happy.
