Today is an exciting, special day. Somewhere, in the northern lands in Utah, is a animal shelter. In a small cage, surrounded by barking dogs and chilly temperatures, confined with a metal food bowl and what I can only imagine, a hopeless view on life, lives a cat named Apple. Little did he know when Mary Ellen walked by him and he pawed her to say hello and offer a bit of friendship, little did he know when she snapped a picture and his image was caught with his pink tongue out, that he would be thought of all weekend. That his picture and the thought of him would not fade, but grow intense and frequent and concerning. Little does he know that tonight hell be in my room, with the view of the mountain and the queen sized bed. Little does he know, we will steal away his hopelessness and change his life forever. I must go, yall. Theres an Apple waiting for us.
