Today is another blessing! I got my praise on at the Pittsburg Church and heard my granddaughter sing her little heart out. I then drove 20 minutes to Kaiser Hospital to welcome my play daughters newborn (Ashiru). I ended the evening at the awards ceremony for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and was thrilled when our Greene Scholars took first, second and third place in Mathcounts-- the middle school math competition! This is also my granddaughters first NSBE convention and the first one that my nephew, Jonathan Smith, is program chair for. I am super proud of him and my family knows why!
