Today is autism awareness day. My family is rocking their blue. I remember holding Kamp in my arms when he was born having so many dreams for him. His life is different than I imagined, like the fact that he is almost 8 and still non-verbal. But he has taught me more than I could have imagined. When Max was diagnosed I was devastated. But he has been a light in our life. We wear blue today to show them we are proud of who they are. Like Temple Grandin says, if it werent for autistic minds, wed all be still socializing in the cave. Happy autism day yall!!!
