Today is day 6 that we are in the hospital... I would have never thought I could make day 1 in a hospital... I cant even explain every days events other then it was a rollercoaster ride and I am excited to say we are close to the end of our ride. On Wednesday Ben came off the cpap machine and went onto oxyflow oxygen... yesterday we tried no oxgyen and now are over 24 hours oxygen free and 2 hours free of monitors. Ben has been eating from a feeding tube and today we are meeting with a occupational therapist to see if Ben is ready to take a bottle. They have to make sure he is able to drink the bottle, swallow the milk while breathing at the same time.. if he cant and we try to early we could cause another problem... pictures of Ben
