Today is hopefully going to be a turning point for me! Going to see Dr. Thomas today, Im unfortunately walking in there with a cane and back brace but I will hopefully be briskly walking out without assistance! Since 2008 Ive have problems off and on with bulged/herniated disc, but last February I did a number on myself! Since that day a year ago I havent had 1 second without mind numbing pain, no relief at all! Ive taken some very strong pain killers that did nothing but knock me out so I could sleep. With the help of God and the strength he gave me I continued to work as much as possible because I love my job keeping our Church beautiful! Hopefully this treatment can change my life and Melanie can take a break for a while, shes been doing all the heavy lifting and other things that I should have been able to at least help with. Theres nothing more dis-heartening than seeing your tiny wife carry 6ft long fold up tables up and down stairs and not be able to even help, doesnt make ya feel good about yourself. Sorry for my ongoing babbling but Im excited about today and cant wait to be pain free! Those who kept me on their prayer list, God Bless you all!
