Today is mixed emotions. I had sent a big package to my son that had no change of clothes nor food and my lovely mother decided to take the package and set it on fire. :/ I had worked really hard to get the money to not only buy enough to get him started pants, shorts, underwear, socks and a few necessities like razors, deodorant ect.. plus a some food items to tie him over and not to mention the cost to ship it. On other news my family is absolutely wonderful and I am so blessed because they are pulling together to send him some clothes to another address. At the same time I got to talk to my daughter finally after having her tonsils out and it was so good to hear her voice and I had sent her a pkg as well. I also gave her my very first cookbook that my Granny bought me about the same age she is now :) I am so glad she loves it. Plus my granddaughter got her bday package of goodies as well. Despite what my mom did it is hard to be completely upset when you see the blessings that come from it after. I love my family and I am so thankful they are there to help lift my spirits when I feel lost. Thank you!!!
