Today is one of those days where the value of life really shines through. We are always so caught up in our daily lives that we never really consider death. Death which is always so permanent or feels that way especially when you lose a loved one regardless of whether or not that loved one is a human or a pet. We should consider what we truly value and not break the hearts of loved ones. We lost our little Max today and some may say he is only a dog, but it makes no difference to us whether he was a dog or a human, he may as well have been a little brother to my kids. This on top of the fact that yesterday I executed a Power of Attorney for a dying man 36 years of age with a brain tumor. He is going to be leaving behind a wife and two beautiful little kids. Life just seems unfair at times and these sorts of incidents remind us to re focus on what is important and let the trivial matters that would normally anger us to slide.
