Today is, sadly, a day I celebrate Independence Day from the safety of a foreign nation. America no longer holds to the original concept of Liberty and Justice for all. The Declaration of Independence states that all "Men are created Equal....." and the Fourteenth Amendment states that "Nor shall any state … deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." meaning everyone is to be treated equally, Men, Woman, White, Yellow, or Black. Unfortunately, the present people in power, commonly known as the Barack Administration, feel otherwise. These people have committed a high treason against the people, country and Constitution of the United States of America. So tonight, instead of celebrating our independence from England, I will mourn our loss of the same to His Highness, King Obama.
