Today is shaping up to be an ideal writer-dude day. Earlier I got news that STIR Journal has accepted a legal-philosophical essay of mine (and since they pay real money and I am an impoverished grad student who has no income this summer, this made me muy happy-o). Then I read a bunch of Asimovs excellent novel, NEMESIS. And just now I got news that The Laurel Review has accepted my poem Pointless Movement (one of my faves Ive written this year). And its only 3pm. If I can get in a few hours of novel editing, I might be required to have celebratory beverages later this evening. #happyrobotmonkeywriterdude
