Today is the 22nd anniversary of when my parents were baptized and confirmed members of the church Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Today is also the 19th anniversary of when I was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. So in a way I have two birthdays on the same week. One when I was physically born and the other when I was spirituality reborn through the ordinance of baptism and the ordinance of the laying on of hands to receive the Holy Ghost. Many may feel like this is not that important but I do. I am eternally grateful to my parents for accepting the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I am eternally grateful to my loving Heavenly Father who blessed me with the opportunity to have the blessings of restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for the testimony of which I have. I am grateful for His long suffering and patience of which He have had with me as I go through the process of repentance. I wish to close this post with my testimony: I testify that I know that Jesus is the Christ; the Son of the Living God. I know that the Atonement of Christ is real for I have felt its redeeming and strengthen powers when I have needed it the most. I know that though obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ and through the grace of God I can be able to live with my Heavenly Father for eternity. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lords true and living church on the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is truly the another testament of Jesus Christ. For I have actually read and prayed about it for myself and witness the peace and spiritual strength that comes from the Holy Ghost as I have read the Book of Mormon. I testify that I know that the President Thomas S. Monson is truly the Prophet on the earth today. I testify that He holds all the keys of the priesthood, the power and authority to act in Gods name, and rights to use them today. I testify and witness that I know that Joseph Smith truly saw God the Father; and His Son, Jesus Christ and spoke to them. I know that Joseph Smith was called to be the Prophet of the Restoration; through whom the Lord restored all the priesthood keys that have been lost throughout the ages. I testify that we as Latter-Day Saints have the blessings and responsibilities to learn all that we can about eternal truths and to apply them to our daily lives. I testify that I know these things in and through the power of the Holy Ghost. And through the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. Of this I testify in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
