Today is the 3rd anniversary of my son Joe joining the Navy & heading off to Boot Camp. Some days it feels like yesterday. We are all so proud of his service. I miss the day to day, but thank God for technology. Some of us watch our kids go to college & that is an adjustment, but when your child joins the military its a whole different animal. Mostly you become a part of a group of families who pay a lot more attention to the news around the world. Some of the small stuff you dont sweat so much & a little bit of a phone call brightens your whole week. As my friends please pray for all our military folks & their families. Thanks!
