Today is the day of salvation, the Lord wishes not one to be lost ( 2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and godliness, 2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hastening unto the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwells righteousness. 2Pe 3:14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. Verse 14 shows the peace that Jesus left us with from John 14:27 Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. -if we read and pray everyday, the Helper will guide us and help keep us without spot and blameless(note its not works lest one should boast, but if one makes a mistake, in our weakness we become strong if we humble ourselves and confess our faults to one another and or to Jesus our Lord), we rest in His hand.....to be free indeed amen, let the truth(Jesus) make us free-Your word is a Lamp and a light unto my path.... 2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written unto you;) -Lord we lift up our fellow brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ who are being persecuted for sharing the gospel from the deadly cult of islam, and any area were satan slithers in. We pray your protection and your word in the heart as it goes forth in the commission that you have given us in Your body, In Iraq and all areas and countrys in the world. Someday soon we are going to see that here with this leadership, the persecutions that are happening over seas. Thank You Lord God for Your hand is not short and can move anywhere in the world You Created.
