Today is the day that the family diner will be closing. My grandfather opened it and then my uncle took it over for many years. He served many people poor and rich at his diner. At his wake and funeral the other night, there were lines out the door for 4 hours of people coming to pay their respects to my uncle. As I talked with one of my sons this morning, we reflected about the things that were said about him at his closing services. It wasnt the many accomplishments in life that you think people would talk about. It was his kind heart, generous spirit and willingness to help those less fortunate than himself. A lesson we can all learn from. I had many good memories of the store and it will be missed by many. ♡♡♡ Sommer LaneDavid Robinson
