Today is the day we put the past behind us and press forward. You get another chance to start over, to deal with those attitudes, thoughts, habits, and behaviors that have been holding you back from stepping into the promises of God and the purpose for which you were created. You can live full of faith, hope, love, joy, peace, and purpose by making a simple decision to choose life (so that you and your children may live, and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to Him.) The good news is that with Jesus you can have a fresh start today. You dont have to focus on what you have lost, what you havent done, or what you are not. Just embrace Jesus. Nothing is irredeemable. Its never to late. We cannot change the past, but the choices we make today can change the future. Make a decision to make this year count; God has something special for each of us to do.
