Today is the last day in Rwanda for A Partnership in Caring volunteers. They spent the day in University Hospital in Butare, Rwanda continuing their work. Partnership Chair Maria van Vonderen says its a day full of mixed feelings; after four weeks in Rwanda its time to come home. She says with each visit they build relationships and now they must go; its hard to give that up. Tomorrow morning, they head to Rwandas capital, Kigali to begin the long journey home. They arrive back home Sunday night.
