Today it has been 4 years since Carson Brooks took his life and went to be with the Lord in Heaven. I still grieve his death and believe it will be a life long journey the Lord will help me endure. Carson suffered from Bipolar disorder that was never stabilized. It is gut wrenching, watching someone suffer, especially your child. God’s grace has covered our family in His custom-made way; as only He can do. Carson was always concerned about his friends, and I know he would want to know that they will join him someday in Heaven when they die. God’s promise of eternal salvation is a free gift available to everyone. It is as simple as praying this prayer, “Lord, I know that I have sinned and tried to do things my way. I confess my sins and believe You died on the cross to cover my sins. I believe You rose from the grave, from death, victoriously. I ask You to come into my life. I surrender my life to You.” If you prayed that prayer you are now a Christ Follower, and you are born again. Congratulations!
