Today, it has been announced that an in-principle agreement has been reached between the State Government, and Paramedics. While it will be some weeks before the agreement is voted on & ratified, it means that essentially, the long dispute is over. Industrial action has been suspended, and the likelihood of it re-commencing is very small. Once the agreement is voted & accepted, it will be formally terminated. As mentioned earlier, this page will have to close shortly. The final closure will occur once the agreement has been accepted, but there will be little / no comment from this point onwards.
