Today marks one year since the vote that allowed gay youth to openly participate in the Boy Scouts of America. While this is a monumental change, we Scouts for Equality still have a lot of work to do. After age 18, gay Scouts are still not welcome. Before age 18, gay Scouts still face false stigmas and prejudices. We are hopeful for the future but remain steadfast in our mission: to build a BSA where A Scout is Equal regardless of superficial delineating differences. To mark this day, were sharing a message from a gay Eagle Scout (@stantastical) who gives us an insight into his experiences as a gay youth in Scouting. Please watch, comment & share!
