Today marks the 10th anniversary of my first date with Dan Wadeson. Time flies so fast! Seems like yesterday I was lying to my dad (sorry Fred Markham.... the statute of limitations on this is 10 years right???) about where I was off to since I was too young to date (15). I said Dan was going to pick me up to go to a friends house to watch a scary movie. Instead, we went to a Mexican restaurant where Dan ordered a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri (no joke) and I got a Sprite. Wed intended to split a Chicken Quesadilla, but it tasted like week old, rotten chicken noodle soup and I immediately spat it out. He forced himself to eat through one slice. Sure enough I got a glimpse of one of his most amazing (and, sometimes, highly annoying) traits that night - persistence. We talked for a few hours before he kissed me goodnight and dropped me off at home. And that, my friends, is the start of our 10 years of crazy. ;) ------------------ If it hadnt have been for Kristen M Warrens 18th birthday party the night before, we never would have had that date! So.... thanks! :)
