Today marks the 16th anniversary of the most tragic day of our families life. Today we commemorate the loss of my eldest sister. Today a dark shroud lingers over my family as we carry on through the day and as we do so we are left to remember and morn. Although I could not remember that day of reckoning , I feel the same dread as my parents by looking into their eyes and seeing the pain and sorrow they felt that day. To my family and friends I say this, love, cherish, and nurture your loved ones because you never know what might happen today, tomorrow, or the day after that. One day my family and I will be reunited once again and until that day we remember, we always remember, because pictures, videos, and memories is all we have remember her by. Even if its painful, we remember because we have to, for her as much as our selves, because when you keep those memories strong and close, thats when they burn brightest.
