Today marks the 190th Anniversary of the passing of the Saints Tesseris Martires who were born in the Village of Melambes in the Prefecture of Rethymnon, Crete. The four Saints are Emmanouil, Nikolis, Georgios and Aggelis. They were true Cretans sacrificing their life for Orthodoxy and for freedom.
