Today marks the 20th anniversary of the national lottery which sadly i remember all to well for the wrong reason.I received a panic phone call from my mums next door neighbor Cath to say that i needed to get down to my mums urgently.When i arrived my dad was being carried into an ambulance on oxygen.Shortly after arriving at hospital an old school friend Sarah Ahmed who happened to be on A & E duty had to break the news that my dad had passed away.Twenty years may have passed but the memories of the best dad in the world never fade.Thanks Sarah Ahmed because the care and compassion shown that night surpassed the call of duty.
