Today marks the 35th Annivesary of my Grandmother Duncan, Ruby Lee Duncan, passing away!!! I can still remember every moment of that sadden day!! A wonderful lady lost to us forever, but we will get to see her one day again though. I remembered going to work for my cousin, Danny Pavolini in his store in Delisle, Ms, that fateful morning so long ago, Danny works alone and needed my help to do inventory of his entire store, I had done maybe three aisles, when Danny got the calk from his mother in law, my Aunt Vieletty telling him, to make sure I get something to eat and drink and tell me, to come to her house, not go to my house, she lived across the street from me, at the time. Danny was told my grandmother passed away, but not to tell me. He was great with me, got me to eat something and gave me a drink and said, Aunt Vieletty needs u and its important for u to go to her house. I kept looking at him, knew deep down something was terribly wrong, by his looks, and left and on way back, on I10, kept saying, dont let it be my grandmother!! Please God, dont!!! But the moment, I walked into Aunt Vielettys house, she said, its your grandma, shes gone!! I turned around and ran out the door and across the street, to my house, to my bedroom and just cried and cried!!!! She was everything to me, she practically raised me and loved me unconditionally!!! She is STILL missed so much, by me alot!!!! I think of her, granddaddy and Aunt Gracie soooo much, they are NEVER far from my heart and always will be, too!!!
