Today marks the day which reflects the eternal love of Khalsa ji with the charankamal of Satguru ji . This was when Khalsa ji from Majha Region of present Punjab comprising areas of District of Amritsar , Gurdaspur ,Tarantaran and western Punjab under the leadership of Shaheed Bhai Maha Singh ji rejoined the Khalsa army and inspiration of their Singhnis ended the shame of their decision to leave Guru Gobind Singh ji in midst of struggle of khalsa ji . They wrote a note that we dont want any battle or leadership from you as a Guru . The note read you are not our Guru We are not your Sikhs . It is very significant historical day . In the ensuing battles Satguru ji sacrificed his whole family , hundreds of dear Sikhs ,lost all possessions , army materials , valuable writings of Dasam Granth and 3 Piaras .Satguru ji kept the note of Majhail Sikhs in his robe and didnot loose it . Mai Bhago ji led after realizing that Singhs of her region had fled in the time of need and to end the shame of their deed gave them bangles to wear . These Sikhs of Majha after realizing their mistake ran back to support Satguru ji . Forty of them obtained martyrdom and their contribution and sacrifice to the cause of Khalsa Panth has become a very significant chapter of Khalsa Panth .They chased away last of enemy forces. They were given honor of Muktas by Guru Sahib. In his last moments Bhai Maha Singh ji rested in lap of Guru Gobind Singh ji and when asked wished last that his note be torn in front of his eyes .
