Today marks the first in a series of contests and recognition in 2015 to celebrate Inver Grove Heights 50th year as a city. Todays special recognition goes to Bruce Bauman. Bruce created a Facebook page called We know youre from Inver Grove Heights if!!! on which he posts local photos - mostly old, some new - of memorable places, people, and businesses. The photos often spur great conversations among readers. Some of my favorite photos from Bruces page are posted below (the swing bridge, Inver Grove Elementary schoolkids, the Little White Church, and Camerons).
