Today marks the one year anniversary of the beginning of the roller coaster ride that was my diverticulitis surgery and its aftermath (some residual effects remain). You all remember that I almost didnt make it but Im here and life is good & exciting! So while Im not going to celebrate the event, I will observe it. While my surgeon said we dont know what exactly causes diverticulitis, a low-fiber diet may contribute. To that end I ask that you all try to eat some extra fiber over the next few days. :-)
