Today marks the second anniversary of Superstorm Sandy and we take the time to honor and remember the magnitude and tragedy of this storm. Thanks to the support of NY Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery we are now able to educate homeless #LGBTQ youth about the impact of weather, create safety plans, and provide skills that will keep them safer in future natural disasters. We are the only Sandy Social Services Block Grantee (SSBG) that focuses on LGBTQ youth and working to recognize homeless youth as being a Superstorm Sandy impacted community.
