Today marks the thirteenth anniversary of September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. I never forget this day when I was going to take the train from Hoboken NJ to Manhattan to go to work that morning and witnessed the horrible events happen across the Hudson River right in front of my eyes. As we remember and honor the 2983 people who lost their lives in this tragedy, lets also not forget the 300 search and rescue dogs that helped in the rescue effort searching day and night tirelessly for survivors in places where it was not possible for humans to go finding survivors and when there were no more survivors finding body remains, giving anguished families some peace of mind.
