Today my Grandpa John J passed away. I couldnt find many pics of him, probably because they are mostly hard copies. He was always the one with the camera holding it up in the air sneaking a selfie with his grandkids before taking a selfie was a thing. He was one of the smartest, most thoughtful men I have ever known. He overcame some pretty crazy circumstances to end up where he did in life, and was a rock and provider for many people. He told my grandmother when he married her, that he would take care of her for the rest of his life, he did, and so much more. Last week I was driving through Greenwich, CT and Danielle and I had the opportunity to have brunch with him, I am so thankful for those last moments I had with him, and for this past Christmas when the whole family got together. Grandpa you will be missed.
