Today, my family is smaller by one and our home has less love contained in these walls. We had to put Austin to sleep as his back half stopped functioning on Friday. There was nothing that we could do. Ill never come across a better dog than him and will miss him terribly. Things that I have learned from my dog in the past 15 years: You can have a pretentious name like Sir Austintaceous of Grafton and not be an asshole or a douchebag. Love unconditionally, always. If its 3am and someone is willing to play ball or throw a frisbee, you play without question because someday youll no longer be able to. Never ever bite. If you have to bark, the only legitimate reasons are to protect your family or that youre literally to the point of almost shitting on the floor. Always play with babies and children. Never get mad when they break things, pull your hair, or step on your tail. Someone/somewhere could always use a kiss or a hug or a nudge. Worry about the things that matter. Most things dont matter. Always fight and dont ever give up. yes, its possible to eat an entire NFL football and poop out just the strings. Love you buddy. Jesus just got a good one. Stop back some time and visit us when the angels take you for a walk.
