Today my husband and my son, Jeff, took a walk with Abbey, my grand-dog in the Dog Park on Southgate Blvd. While there we observed a beautiful German Shepherd cavorting around in the dog park and having a great time. It turns out that her owners are having to give her up because they are both suffering some physical limitations due to strokes and various health issues. THeir son and daughter would like to find her a good home, one that she will be happy in and that they feel confident about. Her name is Bella and she is about 15 months old. She is a full-blooded dog bought from a private breeder and her papers come with her. She is fixed and of course potty trained. She has a kennel and her bowls and toys and things that will come with her. They are not charging for her, because they will make sure it is the correct home. They will set up a home visit with her and them and then plan a nightime stay if that works all right. They obviously care about Bella a lot.
