Today my lifelong friend, a faithful servant of God , and my grandpa went home to meet his Lord! Preaching the gospel for nearly 60 years, and probably LSUs biggest fan. Im gonna miss him, but its not goodbye. Ill see you on the other side! My very last conversation with him is, dont worry about me, Id like to stay here a little longer, but God has allowed me to be fruitful, preaching his word,and seeing souls saved. Proverbs 11:30 =The fruit of the righteous [is] a tree of life; and he that winneth souls [is] wise. My wife has used this song in several funerals, and what a joy to be able to say this to your love ones once theyve passed on!
