Today my momma turned 74 and by coincidence her favorite film GONE WITH THE WIND was playing on the big screen, so I surprised her and took her. She was THRILLED, and the movie held up better than I remembered. It was newly restored from the original Technicolor prints and the colors were BRILLIANT, best Ive ever seen on the film. We went out to dinner too. Was fortunate to be able to spend today giving my Ma a really great surprise and a great day.
