Today, my twelfth day of recorded thankfulness, I am incredibly grateful for my kids and husband. Each of them fills me with great joy. Chris - provides enough encouragement to subdue my occasional discouragement; is a TERRIBLE liar; eats whatever I cook; is a great travel partner; calls me his delicate flower whenever I do something ungainly or awkward; forgives me for not liking beer; is a fun scuba diving buddy, is a great dad to our kids. Eli - dedicated to Soo Bahk Do; nearly always cheerful; likes to wake up early; wants to know whats for breakfast the night before when he goes to bed; claims hell see me first in the morning and sneaks around the house to make it so; loves the outdoors; usually asks me about my day before asking whats for dinner; capable of making a weapon out of ANYTHING; a dedicated budding drummer. Rachel - claims Im her best Mama; asks me to do her hair; likes to snuggle; has the best imagination and puts on the best shows; likes to cook; fascinated with hamsters; a great speller; kind (especially to other soccer team members who have fallen or gotten hurt); willingly sits next to me in church; holds my hand; makes me laugh; reads aloud with great expression; can hide a shocking amount of toys and junk under her bed.
