Today our Spanish classes welcomed Dr. Elsa Lake, Spanish professor at Monmouth University. Dr. Lake was born in Cuba and moved to the United States during the Cuban Revolution. After her presentation to our students (delivered mostly in Spanish) the girls asked her questions (also in Spanish) about her life in Cuba during that difficult time and how she adapted to her new environment here. Dr. Lakes niece, Karen OHare, also offered her opinion on the current Cuban economy and society. Thank you for visiting!
