Today our baby GIRL is 24 weeks and 4 days! Only 98 days to go.... DOUBLE DIGITS!!! Can you believe it!! Why does it feel like we are running out of time to get everything ready? I mean we have everything sorted and yet it still feels like there is SO much to do...and yet there isnt! Argh!!! Excited beyond belief!! Apologies for not posting yesterday! I get up at 5am, and yesterday the bed called me back....very loudly!! I obeyed! As a result though my friends, you copped a morning without your newsfeed being bogged down by a manic morning essay!! Did you survive?? :) Yesterday was good though! I spent most of my day playing mums and babies- practice, you know! I had two mums who were 4 and 3....and I was the baby! Go figure! I was happy with this arrangement though! Last time we played mums and babies the three year old was the baby and I was the dad!!! I enjoyed being the baby (with two little mums) MUCH better! Being the baby in a game with kids is great! All you have to do is lay down with mountains of blankets on top of you while they sit and pat you and sing you to sleep! Then the mums put on their pretend high heels and trot off to work (the lounge room)! The baby stays sleeping in the bedroom until the mums return and then it ALL begins again! I loved it! Constant rest! And every time my mums went off to work I jumped up out of my blankets and had a sneaky sip of my coffee that was sitting up on one of the book cases, only then to jump straight back under my covers!!! Im such a cheeky child....with a caffeine addiction no less!! Today it was back to Ninja Turtles....but I wont bore you with that! Lets just say I can work a set of plastic nunchucks like you wouldnt believe!! In other news, my child is neglecting me now it seems! Its been FAR too long since Ive felt a kick or poke!! Chels will feel her and Ill instantly lay my hands on her belly, but little miss NAUGHTY clearly thinks its funny to tease her mummy!!! Its been a couple of days since Ive felt her and I MISS HER!! LOL! Come on bubba girl- start whipping out those karate chops in full swing!! Chels is doing great! Glowing and looking beautiful as always! I had to make a frantic dash to the supermarket last night as CHOCOLATE WAS NEEDED!! Yes, a craving attack! Something I havnt had to deal with for quite sometime! But, alas, last night all bets for off, and chocolate was required ASAP! Apologies to any Woolworths staff members who had to witness the girl with the Trackies and uggboots, running bra-less up the confectionery isle!! Apologies to all of you too....for that glorious mental image Ive just put in your head!! The funniest part of the story is when 3am rolled around and I was awoken by a very loud crinkling sound! The verdict?? Chels deciding that she indeed needed more of that chocolate when waking briefly to roll over! I had no idea what it was and said startled WHAT IS THAT NOISE....to which there was little, meek reply ....chocolate! SPRUNG!!! Well, considering Ive left this until the end of the day to write, I should probably get it up and posted! Friday tomorrow! YAY!! Im getting together with my mum again which will be lovely, before Chels and I engage in our lazy Friday night!! Its such a lovely feeling knowing that we can absolutely nothing together and adore every minute of it! NO frills needed for us, just love!! Have a great evening/day friends!! P.S Just felt her kick!
