Today our hearts are heavy, we had one of our beloved members go to be with the Lord this morning. Mrs. Sawyer was a wonderful lady, she was a Grand mother of our church. Many of our young women over the years followed her advice and her guidance. She was a shining star in our crown. For many years that smile warmed the coldest hearts. She loved the hugs and cards she got, and she loved to see people praising God. But toward the end, she became a mighty weapon for God, she became a prayer warrior. With an aged body, she whipped on the devil with her prayers. She longed to see souls come to Jesus, and now those she has prayed for, those prayers will still be heard. Because she is in glory, safe with her beloved Christ. The one she so sweetly told others about.....Until we meet again Mrs. Sawyer.
