Today our prayers are for those people who work night shifts. These people labour by night and lay down their energies down on the dark side of the days cycle. Dearest God look after these people whose world looks different from the angle of nighttime work. Help them to wake up to their nightly duties with enthusiasm. Give them strength to see them through the night which for certain night duties is monotonous and lonely. Dear Lord look after these people who work while we unknowing sleep. Look after their families who make as much sacrifices as the workers themselves. Dear Lord bless all these nocturnal workers. In Jesus name Amen
