Today our very own Sumners Yfc pythons had their 3rd home game of the season against a great team Nazeing the coaches are great and the parents are supportive of both teams, last time out my pythons won 10-3 it what can only be described has a mud bath today was different has the passmores pitch was glistening with frost and then the winter sun paid us a visit, we were without Jack and Zak today for this one and Jacob Wayne Mckenzie had to pass a fitness test has he as been under the weather this week. Ted Terry Herbert was our captain for this game he won the toss and elected to kick off. the game started sluggish has both teams were getting used to the pitch Sumners were getting their passing game together and stretched the nazeing boys our reward came in the 7th min when ted scored a tap in at the back post with good work from Jacob 1-0 nazeing did make a couple of attacks but Aaron had a better 10 mins than last week, cavan Arran Richards did make 3 or 4 runs down the wing and shot wide on all occasions but his reward came in the 14th min when aaron put him through and he buried it into the corner 2-0 and then freddie Lee Wilkinson made a great 1 on 1 save to keep us in the game.And thats how it stayed until half time. In the second half ted and aaron were orchestrating every sumners move and nazeing were under pressure we had a series of corners and on the 4th one ted delivered the defender got just in front of Toby Gary Palmer who was having a great game the ball then rolled along the floor to Aaron who touch took out 2 defenders and then continued his run and buried it into the bottom corner for a 3-0 lead, Ted then made it 4 and freddie scored a great goal to make it 5 then Nazeing changed their goalkeeper and he was special he saved shots from freddie4, cavan3, toby 2 aaron 2 jacob 3 and ted 2 including a barrage which the keeper made a triple save then aaron hit the corner of post and bar and aaron then hit the rebound for keeper to stop and toby then shot and squirmed wide but finally with 2 mins remaining cavan broke away gliding past 2 players and thunderbolted past the keeper to give us a 6-0 win.. FINAL SCORE SUMNERS PYTHONS 6 NAZEING 0 MOM AARON BURCH - PASSING WAS IMMENSE TODAY.. THIS CONCLUDED OUR LAST GAME IN THE BLUE LEAGUE WITH FIGURES OF PLAYED 8 WON 8 SCORED 81 AGAINST 8
