Today people in a small town near me are coming on line trying to defend this person on the basis of Ive known him a long time, he is a great guy and a great youth minister. I call b.s., but more than that, I call hypocrite because we ALL know if he wasnt YOUR youth minister, youd be out to lynch him. Defending this, unless you defend EVERYONE in this situation, is part of why churches are dying. It is not that they teach the bible. It is not that they teach love or forgiveness, or even that they condemn sin.
