Today please vote for Deb Goldberg for Treasurer. In my many years of following politics Ive never met someone so genuine, sincere and caring as Deb Goldberg. Her vast experience combined with her integrity and values make her the ideal candidate. If elected Treasurer Deb will fight to give every woman, every man and every family the financial power and skills they need to get ahead. Deb on wage equality: Its not just a women’s issue. It is a family issue and from day one it will be my issue as your Treasurer. Today women make 77 cents on the dollar, African American women 64 cents, Latinas 52 cents. It is simply not right. Deb has the knowledge and determination to create a well needed college savings plan. Her college savings plan for kindergarteners will be at no cost to taxpayers. As Treasurer, Deb will renew efforts to establish a state-owned public bank, which could provide critical funding for our transportation, infrastructure, schools and local economies statewide. Deb will create a Treasury based on transparency, ethics, accountability, professionalism and integrity. Deb is the ideal person to become Treasurer, please support my friend Deb Goldberg.
