Today seems like a great day to post some music! Do you remember music from the 90’s? According to several music critics, the 1990’s was the one the best decades for music. I love the fact that there was no real music type that describes the whole decade. If you think back for just one moment, you’ll recall that we had disco, swing, 1980’s style electro pop, pop rap, gangsta rap, folk, alternative, rock, classic rock, hard rock, and a very diverse selection of electronica. Back in those days when you turned on regular pop radio, you had no clue what kind of music was going to play, because there was so much variety. I don’t miss the stone washed jeans, the pump-up shoes or all the flat top mullets, but musically, it was a pretty happening time! This collection very much reflects the music and style of those days…(i have to admit though, that I did omit a lot of heavy sounding music for the sake of keeping this playlist, “fun and easy” to listen. Although retro, in sound and appearance, every track in this playlist is from 2008 or newer, (many are much, much newer).
