Today someone told me everything that happens in our lives is a direct result of our own choices. To me, thats just not true. For the most part yes, but if you mean everything the answer is No. Sometimes we must deal with the choices of others that affect us. A company goes out of business and we lose our job. A criminal decides we are his next victim. An accident occurs over which we had no control. We must own our own choices. We must accept responsibility for the choices we do make and quit trying to find someplace or someone to blame. But, when we fall victim to the choices of others, we basically have one option....to accept responsibility for our reaction to it & where we move from this moment forward. We may not cause everything to happen, but we are responsible for our re-action and our resulting choices. We must decide to move to a better place from where others left us to be.
