Today started out slow. I woke up, getting ready for classes and stressing about upcoming tests. But then, just as I received a text from Gabby reminding me, I remembered what day it was; my cousin Brandon Mayer finally gets discharged from the hospital. Needless to say Ive been full of joy all day so far. After 11 long weeks, Brandon is finally on his way to a normal life just as before. My family and I are so blessed that he has made the progress that he did. I also want to say thank you to McKenzie Mayer, Rhonda Soffa Mayer, Allen Mayer, and the rest of my family for the support they have given to him and myself and for what they had to endure. I know things arent necessarily going to be easy just yet, but they are so much better. Once again, Im proud of you bro, and I love you. Cant wait to see you.
