Today the Anglican Church of Canada commemorates William Laud, former Archbishop of Canterbury! ALMIGHTY God, our heavenly Father, we remember before thee thy servant William Laud, who hath served thee faithfully in his generation, and hath entered into rest; beseeching thee to give us grace so to follow in his steps, that with him we may be partakers of thy heavenly kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
